General
In the first chapter of the Nuclotron lectures you will be introduced to the history of the first world's Superconducting Heavy Ion Synchrotron, which was built in 1992 and now will be used as an accelerating ring for the NICA collider.
The second chapter of the Nuclotron course is about the main systems and the subsystems of the Nuclotron, such as the injection system, cryogenic system, magnet power supply, and so forth.
The third chapter focuses on the Nuclotron vacuum system and its features.
This chapter is dedicated to the beam inside the Nuclotron. It's injection, diagnostics and measurements.
This lecture deals with various systems, such as the radio frequency accelerating system, slow extraction system, stochastic cooling, and control system.
The last chapter is dedicated to the Nuclotron’s online presence and availability of info such as: schedule, shifts, online setup status and parameters.
